Reynolds DeWalt worked with ING to streamline their election process and to increase response through personalization and the use of personalized investment tools.

In the past, ING had often sent static direct mailers which contained a business reply card for the participant to fill out and return. Reynolds DeWalt helped ING to optimize this process by opting for personalized communication instead of static messaging, by utilizing email instead of direct mail, and by using personalized investment microsites instead of reply cards.

The result is that participation has increased due to channel selection and personalization and the investors made smarter decision due to their personalized, interactive investment tools.

We also helped ING optimize their data processing workflow. Instead of investors sending back reply cards [which need to be manually processed in the data entry department], investors were able to key in their new contribution rate directly into the microsite. The data keyed in by the participants was saved directly into the campaign database which was available in real-time for use in ING business operations. This process of collecting data electronically opposed to manual entry has been a major time and labor saver, increasing ING's profitability.
