Rain Delay

While watching the “C’s”, not the derogatory word for a friend who won’t cannonball off a 100’ pier in a dare but the Celtics, I realized blog and team don’t have “I’s”. The letter - not pupils silly. I know “me”, team has “me”. Blog has “log” and you can be a “bump” on one if you’re lazy. Again, no “I”. Plus, Bump was my grandfather’s nickname and he wore out three wedding rings from hard work. Have you ever worn out a pair of pants from hard work?
Team also has “meat”. Sounds tasty with salt and pepper seasoning, grilled to perfection, but if you’re not part of a team that is what you are, “meat”.
Solutions are achieved with a team mentality. Trust and support are key factors to success. Not achieving a client’s expectations is like a showing up without a glove, bat and cup. If you have ever depended on someone else to protect your back or defend your team’s goal you know what I mean. Selfishness doesn’t really translate into knowledge or dedication. Prima donnas need not apply.
Be honest and clear. No one cares. Be honest and clear. Because you care.
Do clichés really makes sense, or is it a bunch of garbage created by the bloggers from the 40’s?
Rainmaking delay is over. Play Ball!
